The renovation strategy was to replace the dated bathroom, which had no toilet, with a brand new bathroom that had a toilet and better circulation space. The works included:

  • Installation of a brand new bathroom.
  • Removal of asbestos.
  • Deletion of linen press to allow space for a new toilet.
  • Reconfigure the plumbing to allow for new services.
  • Wall sheeting, waterproofing, tiling.
  • Installation of new fixtures and fittings.

    I can see you changed the layout completely. May I ask how much does the plumbing cost you including the concrete cutting?

    1. Hi Min,
      In this case the house was on piers (lifted off the ground), so there was no concrete cutting required. Typically you can expect to pay around $2K for plumbing on a bathroom where you are rejigging the layout.
