THE STORY:

Cherie Barber’s aim is to add style and elegance to a dated and ordinary top floor apartment in Liverpool to appeal to a wider market.  The budget for this renovation was minimal which resulted in some clever ideas to refresh the current kitchen and bathroom.  This renovation also shows the high-end look you can achieve without the high-end price bracket.

RENOVATION STRATEGY:

The main objective of this cosmetic renovation was to create a sophisticated look on a minimal budget.  This was accomplished predominantly through paint and wallpaper which created a chic and stylish interior.

The scope of works included:

  • Laminate paint kitchen cupboards;
  • Laminate paint laundry cupboards and resurface bench top;
  • Paint whole of apartment internally;
  • Wallpaper feature walls within the apartment;
  • Tile paint sections of bathroom tiles;
  • New flooring in laundry and 1 bathroom;
  • Sand & Polish the existing floorboards;
  • Install feature lighting;
  • Create feature bedhead in main bedroom
  • Install new window furnishings;
  • Fix years of neglected, minor repairs in the apartment;
  • Property styling.
