Dan and Sophie purchased this one-bedroom investment property some years ago, and moved in after they got married. Their intention was to complete a quick reno and flip, to move up the property ladder. They made a great start completing their bathroom renovation, however a budget blowout has left little money to finish the rest of the property.
I’m called in just two days before the open for inspection and given a budget of just $3,000 to work my magic.
Here is what I did:
Kitchen
- use specialty paints to cosmetically refresh the kitchen cabinetry and benchtop
- add extra overhead cupboards
- lay laminate flooring
Lounge/dining/bedroom:
- fresh paint throughout
- window dressings replaced
