Taubmans Colour of the Year 2019 unveiled

As an official Brand Ambassador for Taubmans, I was amongst the first to be let in on the Taubmans Colour of the Year 2019.

Taubmans® Night Watch creates a luscious feature wall.

Being a huge fan of green (anyone who knows me well is aware of my weakness for green eyeshadow), I couldn’t have been happier to discover it was a lush green, with an equally exotic name: Night Watch.

The inspiration behind the colour choice is nature. With apartment living becoming ever more popular, especially in our high-density cities, there’s more need than ever to bring the outdoors in. It’s probably a lot of the reason why indoor plants have seen such a resurgence and botanical prints have taken off, whether it’s cushion covers, wallpaper or fabrics.

In this video, I’m going to take you through a room makeover and share my design tips and tricks, so you, too, can achieve a nature-inspired interior using Taubmans Colour of the Year 2019.

These shelves are made of MDF. I used three shades of Taubmans® Night Watch for a tri-colour effect.
